Trees downed by sturdy winds on Condition Highway 1 near Cambridge have been eradicated, but the highway closure proceeds into a 2nd day for cleanse-up.
The extend of freeway concerning Karāpiro and Taotaoroa streets was closed at 12.50 on Wednesday after solid winds battered the area, and a detour is in area.
