ESCONDIDO — An Escondido High University university student was recently named as one of two Southern California ambassadors for Younger Ladies In Bio.
Nathalie Cedillo is one of only 24 higher college student ambassadors nationally who had been chosen.
Cedillo, a junior at Escondido Superior School, will perform together with the other scholar ambassadors and with Younger Women of all ages In Bio (YWIB) to share her enthusiasm for science, technological innovation, engineering and math (STEM) fields and to inspire and encourage other youthful gals.
Morgan Kavanaugh, Cedillo’s AP Environmental Science & Biology Instructor, shared her enjoyment about Cedillo’s accomplishment.
“Nathalie has demonstrated great perseverance and her enthusiasm for science is so very clear,” Kavanaugh reported. “Involvement with this system has furnished the opportunity for her to share her exclusive perspective and experience with science instruction.”
“I am hopeful that this will only assistance assistance diversifying the STEM discipline in the future and help educational facilities greater assistance our college students and their passions. Nathalie is a joy to have as a student and we are so proud,” Kavanaugh continued.
Ambassadors will attend nationally-led digital gatherings and when attainable, in-human being occasions and courses hosted by their local YWIB chapters. They will also acquire a scholarship.
