Two female maids from West Bengal were discovered dead at their employer’s property in southeast Delhi’s Jungpura Extension on Monday early morning, law enforcement claimed.
The two women — aged 35 and 40 — hailed from Darjeeling in West Bengal and experienced been dwelling in the personnel quarters of the household since they commenced operating there as maids in June, they explained.
Law enforcement said no injury marks had been current on the body of any of the two maid but the trigger of death will be crystal clear only after write-up-mortem.
Senior law enforcement formal Esha Pandey reported a PCR simply call was received at 9.45 am regarding two maids lying unconscious in a house at Jungpura Extension here.
When the law enforcement went to the place and achieved the caller, she told them that the two maids had been lying lifeless in the dwelling, the formal claimed.
According to police, the owner of the household was sleeping on the ground ground though the two women stayed on the initial flooring and allegedly, their arms and legs were tied. Absolutely nothing has been taken from the residence.
“A circumstance has been registered below Sections 302 (punishment for murder) and 34 (acts completed by many people in furtherance of typical intention) of the Indian Penal Code and investigation is in premature stage. We are investigating the situation from all angles,” the she stated.
Police claimed that the criminal offense and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) groups inspected the scene of crime. The bodies had been preserved in the mortuary of AIIMS healthcare facility.
